Campground open alerts

Get one email when a federal campground changes from listed closed to listed open. Pick the campground and the dates you can use. National forest campgrounds use the Forest Service nightly list. National park campgrounds use National Park Service season dates and closure alerts. The email is that status change only. It is not a cancellation, and it is not a free site.

We check once a day. National forest campgrounds use the Forest Service nightly open/closed list. National park campgrounds use National Park Service season dates and closure alerts. Out of season is closed. A closure alert that names the campground is closed. In season, with no closure alert, is open. This is the campground's open or closed status, not a Recreation.gov reservation calendar and not a cancellation list. A campground can be listed open while every site is reserved. The first check records the status and stays quiet. We email once if it changes from closed to open while your dates are still ahead, including if it opens before you arrive. After that email, the watch stops.

One watch. Starter is $9 a month for 10 watches. Plus is $19 a month for 40 watches. Campground status is checked once a day on either plan. A free account does not include watches. Email confirms by a link. A webhook confirms when you pay.
